Fred is a building science professional with over 13 years of experience in the construction industry, including the last several years working as a building envelope consultant with leading firms in the Lower Mainland. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Structural Engineering, along with a Master of Applied Science in Building Science from BCIT.
His work bridges structural insight with deep building science expertise, with a focus on building envelope consulting, energy modelling, and field testing. He has contributed to a wide range of new construction and rehabilitation projects across residential, commercial, and institutional sectors. His work emphasizes performance-driven solutions for moisture control, airtightness, and energy efficiency — all tailored to BC’s demanding climate.
